Stars Funding Success

Lincoln Stars received fantastic news this week as Sport England awarded the club £2,965 through their Small Grants funding programme.
The money will help the club set up a new development squad, train new coaches and officials and help their community programme.

NEW Basketball in Caistor and Bourne

Sportivate funding will pay for the first 6 weeks of basketball sessions in Caistor and Bourne. Sessions will start week commencing 23rd January. Wednesday 26th at Caistor sports hall 6-7pm £2 and Bourne Leisure Centre from Thursday 27th 5.30-6.30pm, £2.50. Both sessions open to players of all abilities aged 14+. The 2011/2012 junior league tips-off Sunday 2nd Oct with 3 games at the central venue in Lincoln.
This years league has expanded to 2 age groups, U17 and U19, with a total of 9 teams now participating.
Fixtures can be viewed in full on the website and all games are played at;

Coaching sessions run every Thursday in Grantham for anyone aged 14+. We are looking for new players for the U17 team to compete in the county junior league starting in October. Players of all abilities welcome.
